Shattered Vanity depicts a skeleton holding up a cracked mirror, snapping a selfie with their bony hand — a darkly hilarious commentary on self-obsession, mortality, and the absurdity of documenting our existence for an audience of no one.
Design Details
The illustration is rich with narrative detail: the mirror’s cracks radiate from the center, the skeleton’s empty eye sockets somehow convey a genuine selfie face, and their free hand is held at the classic selfie angle.
